Here's another update from us!

by Isabelle Leibler | 12/5/2011 6:49:40 PM

The early rain turned into mid morning sunshine. Watson and I had a good ride this morning. He felt strong and happy. We discovered the Schlosshotel, a beautiful palace built for Princess Victoria, eldest daughter of Queen Victoria. Dinner at The Lodge and of course night check. And it snowed for a few minutes during dinner. Kronberg is full of surprises as we find more places to see in our free time.

A quiet day at Schafhof

by Isabelle Leibler | 12/4/2011 7:00:53 PM

Sunday is a quiet day at Schafhof. Horses are off and most of the staff too. Watson and I walked in the Reithalle in the morning and afternoon. The other horse in the arena having a walk this morning was Totalis! The weather has been cold and damp-rain on and off all today. Schafhof is beautiful even in the rain with the Christmas lights glistening in the afternoon dusk. Last night we found a wonderful local restaurant a few km from the barn in between feeding Watson and night check. The name...

Another Update from Kronberg

by Isabelle Leibler | 12/3/2011 5:51:39 PM

I think we are very close to experiencing some snow. It has been quite cold with some rain, and with a few degrees lower, it could easily be a White Christmas! Today was a really simple day. Light work and some frequent power walks throughout the day. We will begin with full training again on Monday, and my hope is that we can slowly peak from there. We will let Watson tell us when he is ready. While I was handwalking today, I got to see something quite special. Klaus Martin Rath was exercising...
