Team Announced for Samsung Super League Competitions, CSIO Hickstead and CSIO Dublin

Lexington, KY – The United States Equestrian Federation today announced the team for the Samsung Super League Competitions in Hickstead, Great Britain July 21st – 25th and Dublin, Ireland August 4th – 8th. The team members are as follows:

“We are looking forward to great performances from this group of riders,” said Sally Ike, Director of Show Jumping and Vaulting Activities for the USEF. “This is a very strong team that should give the other international teams a run for their money."

The next Super League competition is this weekend in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, June 17th-20th, where 2004 Olympic Short Listed rider Peter Wylde will join Kim Frey, Judy Garofalo, Candice King and Laura Kraut.

Competition then moves to Aachen, Germany on July 13-18th where the Olympic Short Listed team of Peter Wylde, Chris Kappler, Beezie Madden and McLain Ward, with Alison Firestone as an alternate, will represent the United States. The team for the final competition in Barcelona, September 16th-19th will be announced in early August.

To date the U.S. team is sixth in the Samsung Super League standings after competing at La Baule, France; Rome, Italy; and Lucerne, Switzerland. The point standings are as follows:
